mini cd dropped out of tray and fell inside Gateway desktop

Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can retrieve this mini cd? My Gateway model # is SX2110G. I guess the tower is called a mini tower. The tray sits on its side rather than coming straight out! I ...

Yes, you will have to open the case which should be fairly easy. You want to open the left side panel. Here are the instructions.
