Mobile hot spots

We are planning on spending the winter at a campground with no cable or wi-fi. Can anyone recommend a reliable (inexpensive) mobile hot spot? I have one through Straight Talk but it is fairly expensive.

Reliable depends on where you are parked.. I mean no company has 100% coverage. Not Verizon, Not T-mobile, not AT&T not ______ nobody. But put 'em all together and things work fairly well.

Now I'm a long time T-Mobile subscriber 55+ plan for 92/month (i think I'm still paying for the phone) including Taxes I get:
All the talk I can talk
All the text I can text
All the data I can eat with an * you know that dreaded *

The first so many Gigs are full speed 4Glte both for the phone and for linked devices (hotspot data).. after the hotspot cut off hotspot data is throttled.
And when the phone hits the "Total data" limit.. Well... then I get my vector lowered. that means if the tower is busy... it slows down

Do I notice.. NO but I do not often stream video. (I think the last time I streamed more than a couple minutes was in Jan when I Streamed one hour... I'd been notified I'd be named during the broadcast and I was (Nice thing) so I streamed it and logged into the live chat room. I really needed that new radio too (I won the monthly prize).
  • Try Visible. $40/month unlimited phone, text, and data. You can use your existing phone if it is compatible, or purchase an Android phone for $19. With the Visible R2 phone you can connect to the phone hot spot.
  • I believe ATT and/or VZ are your best options. If you are streaming content you will want an unlimited data plan.
