Mohu Leaf Antenna

Has anyone tried the Mohu Leaf Antenna in their RV's? I know a few people using them in their homes and am curious if anyone has tried them in the rigs.

Thanks

Kurt

Looking at it, I know they claim "Best HD Antenna" but 1: I see that a lot and 2: I do not in the least believe it... Since I've seen with my own eyes antennas that outperform that one by major distances.

I'll stick with my crank up Full blown Winegard Batwing+Wingman+Sensar Pro. better than that for RV use is not likely going to happen.
  • I just saw this style of Antenna at my local Costco.
Not sure of the brand. It was Black in color.
And was Amplified. And was $40.

I have the Winegard Brand that I also got at Costco about 1/2 year ago.
Seems to work OK in my MH, but have not tested it that well.
I carry it as a spare in case something happens to my Batwing.
  • I have one at home and reception is so-so. I live on the outskirts of Kansas City with most of the TV transmitter towers within 25 miles. On some channels, the leaf does fine, on others it drops reception if you walk in front of the antenna. If you have an Amazon account, they make a smiliar non-amplified antenna at a cheaper price and offer a few amplified http://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Ultra-Thin-Indoor-Antenna/dp/B00DIFIM36/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1391529205&sr=8-3&keywords=indoor+tv+antenna.
  • I will be watching this thread. I am seriously thinking about getting the big one for my attic in the stick and brick. If that works well perhaps the small one for the motor home will help cure the money drain there as well, although it seems much of the time we are too far away for much OTA reception.
