I'm viewing this thread on a 32" TV right now. It looks great, is super simple to read, and youtube videos look great. I'm connected through the standard vga plug. Absolutely no problems. My son routinely runs his laptop and xbox through his 24" bedroom TV, and they both look great. I watch Netflix and Amazon Prime movies on my 46" TV through a vga cable from a computer and they look awesome.
As long as your netbook has a vga connection (and it does), and your TV has one, all you need is the cable. It'll work just fine, especially for basic reading needs.
