Moving Programs to a New Computer
Both PC the old one is XP new one would be Sys 7 or 8. Don't want to loose programs, no data involved. Bob

Recently built a new system (about 2 months ago) with windows 7 as I am planning on retiring my XP system. All of my software applications I ran on XP are running fine on Windows 7 so far, no surprises as of yet. This is not to say all application are compatible.
I think you will like Windows 7 if you go that way.
I took my old XP system and installed Ubuntu onto it as the operating system, working great.
