MS Streets and Trips 2013

Too bad it will not work in our 2006 Honda Accord. The CD that goes with/updates is terrible. Sends you places that sometimes do not exist and on routes that are not the best route.....

I think I will wait until next year...thanks everyone. Will have to try that POI file though...sometime when I can wade through it!

Ihad been using MST 2011 but decided to update to 2013. Thank goodness that I purchased the CD instead of downloading. Their code is screwed up, at least part of it. I was planning a trip to Tennessee and we wanted to stay at parks in Granite City, IL and Frankfort, KY that we had stayed in before. In both cases, 2013 MST had the RV park in the wrong place and you couldn't work around it. I also had problems when I tried to over ride the MST selected route because I wanted to take a specific road. I never could get that to work. Finally, I said enough and went back to the 2011 version. So beware.

I downloaded this file and its extensive. It does have 1000 trails.
I havn't quite figured out yet how to incorporate it within S&T when I open it on my computer yet though. There is a tutorial to look at, so I will have to spend some time on it unless someone here has a quick explanation.

I haven't used Streets & Trips in a number of years but doesn't it have the ability to add POI's? There are places such as the POI Factory that have POI files that include Thousand Trails campgrounds.

Ok, I put a pin near a TT/N I frequent quite often. I requested a 15 mile radius and it came up with 16 campgrounds, however no 1000 trails. Bummer, that would have been nice.

Just downloaded the trial version (2013) yesterday. I played around with it and it so vastly superior to Garmins Basecamp that I purchased it for $19.99 at Office Depot.
Its a little different to transfer the routes to my Garmin 1490, but works well.
Very easy to make a route, either by typing address or using Pins.
I have not totally explored all the campground data base, However I will check out the 1000 trails and see if they are in there and report back.

I've stayed with my old version - 2006 - mainly because the campgrounds include Thousand Trails properties. When I checked newer versions Thousand Trails parks were not included - have they been returned in the 2013 version?

I just read some reviews on Amazon ($20).

There is some serious criticism from longer term users even though it gets a 4 star rating.
