I just replaced my Fluke 77- it is nearly 30 years old, has been dropped from lighting trusses and motorhome roofs, and the display finally did die. While I could have had it fixed, I bought a slightly lower priced Fluke 116 which reads microamps, but doesn't do current over microamps, so I bought a Tenma hall effect clamp on sensor to hook to the Fluke. The 116 is designed for HVAC type work- the microamps for reading flame sensing. Also is true RMS, does capacitance, frequency and temperature.
