So, you think that having an independent PC in your living room or bedroom is safe from hackers?
Think again; there are so many redundancy and overlapping security measures in cloud environment than in your modem at home. This is why cloud computing was invented.
Granted, there is always this possibility of unauthorized access, whether in your private server or in the cloud network.
Too much security does have its drawbacks however. . . it sacrifices those plug and play features that hardware engineers have in their wares. It (security app) causes inconvenience for those who are technologically challenged.
But, we do have to accommodate these type of users.
Forget those belly-ups...cloud computing is not served by only one single server. Data is mirrored in several servers that are constantly checking and upgrading themselves without you even noticing it, and they are located in servers around the world.
Another reason why you can have access to your photos anywhere you are.
