I can't comment on those other Wi-Fi boosters as I have no experience with them. I would suggest if you have the time to locate the actual Wi-Fi signal a Yagi antenna will always give you the best performance.
As far as using another antenna on the cell booster my understanding is that is illegal. Cell boosters need to be sold with a particular antenna. And in the case of WeBoost there is an optional antenna for more gain that is legal . you can't just buy any antenna and hook it up to the amplifier.
