Since I wrote that piece I've had a number of extremely positive experiences with the WeBoost.
In many areas there was simply zero cell service without WeBoost and more than satisfactory performance when using it. Very pleased.
Wish I could say the same for WiFi Boost. Other than a McDonalds or Starbucks parking lot, or within a 1/4 mile, I've not been able to use the WiFi Booster. But then again, I never stay in RV parks that offer WiFi so I'm not a good test subject.
If you are a "parking lot" surfer, the WiFi booster is a good deal. At $150 or so, it's still well worth it.
