goto radio shack, buy some rca jacks to put on the end of your speaker wires
then go buy any DVD player you like that fits in that space
but i don't know of any DVD player that ever had bare wire audio connector
IT sounds like you are talking about a unit that has an amplifier built in and is connected directly to speakers
that is NOT going to be as easy to find
DVD players are normally audio signal into the TV, not speaker connected
