Need gps recommendations

Have never had a GPS system.Wife and I have a 34' 5th wheel and plan on going to places we haven't been before so was wondering if anyone has any recommendations. Ease of use VERY IMPORTANT (NOT TECH SAVVY), also accuracy.
  • Smart phones don't work well out west. Allot of dead zones. I have used Garmins for years and just up graded to a 2577 that will bluetooth with my smartphone for additional information such as weather reports and traffic reports.
  • Another vote for Garmin. Wouldn't leave home without it.
  • We have the Garmin also with the lifetime maps and am really happy with it. Even the quirky little feature that keeps saying, "you are exceeding the speed limit."
Tablets, smart phones also have GPS, but his is a nice addition we wouldn't be without.

We really like the garmin gps. Get one with lifetime upgrades, they are available for $75-$150. They are very easy to use and when you get one
you'll wonder why you didn't buy one years ago. I've seen nice ones for under $100.

    Sincerely, Brian

  • I like our Rand McNally 7710. It is an early model of the 7730.
Large screen and easy to use.
  • If you have a smart phone, I like the CoPilot app. This forum recommended it. Easy to use with RV setting. Speaks directions. We use it in both the RV and the toad. $7.99 in itunes store. You can also pay a monthly subscription to traffic info. We chose not to do that.
