Maybe I was confusing in my initial question.. I know how to turn the User Account Control on / off BUT, only one Vista computer requires me to do it when adding or deleting programs / functions and the other does not even though they appear to have the same User Account Settings in the Control Panel. It is not a huge deal, but since I am the Administrator, shouldn't I be permitted to do what I want without having to change the User Account Control on/off and restarting the computer each time I make a change.. Thanks to all for your time and inputs..
