The best advice I got when I did similar research was to make sure that the dish you get for your RV matches the dish you have at home. This way when you move the home receiver / dvr into the RV for the trip, the setup time is greatly reduced if not eliminated. We take our DirecTV receiver with us every weekend, the setup is pretty quick once you learn how to find the satelites.
