I don't like the idea of using my cellphone for the hotspot as this will tie up your cellphone.
The Verizon MIFI Plan or the MILLENICOM PLAN uses the same MIFI unit which is a stand alone device which creates a secure WIFI HOT SPOT around your camp site. This will allow you to connect between five to ten WIFI devices and not interfere with your cell phone use.
This works out great for us when camping as I can use my big Dell M90 computer and the wife can use her HP LAPTOp at the same time. Then all of our tablets and other devices can also be used.
Works great carring the same MIFI unit in the shirt pocket and sitting down at the beach watching the surf there haha...
