- Bill_SatelliteExplorer IIX 3 or so on replacing with the Batwing. You are getting the same answers on the Tiffin Forum as well. Some broadcasters are also in the process of moving back to the VHF frequencies and those that do will cripple the smaller Jack style antenna.

Then there was something WRONG with your old Batwing since there is no way a Jack is superior to a Batwing for reception.

Do an advanced search for SCVJeff and read his tests of the various antennas. He is definitely pro Winegard and I think for good reasons.
Batwing vs. Jack
The Batwing is far and away the better of any antenna in RV service. Anyone suggests different, ask them to prove it. Anyone that's ever said a Jack outperforms a Batwing, has a broken Batwing.
