Network Adapter

I need to get a new network adapter for my desktop card, USB?. My mobile hot spot from AT&T Unite Pro Black. It supports dual band wifi. This is not my area of expertise. Thanks in advance.
  • Thanks for the responses. I order a USB plug in and I will see how it goes.

X2; what you have already will work fine.
  • I would suggest the internal card.
If the hot spot card has n RG45 output, I would think about hardwiring the desktop.
  • while technically correct, wireless network adapters are just called wifi or wireless adapters, and network adapter refers to the wired / cabled kind.

without knowing the details on your desktop, all I can say is purchase the least expensive name-brand adapter you can find. Linksys, Belkin, Netgear, etc - they're all good and they're all built by a Chinese company called Realtek
