Thanks all. I will cut some of the foam to give some more air volume behind. It won’t be able to exit though, there is nowhere to go so it will be a sealed box. I could add some small washers to mounting screws and it could leak around there a bit. Unfortunately no spec given for enclosure requirements.
Will verify polarity first.
Upgrading deck may be in order. It has 20w rms and speakers are 50. Not too bad of a mismatch. I could get a nicer deck with a DVD player to connect to tv anyway. It’s a win win.
