I have a new Class C which has a reasonable radio/cd player, I know its ok as its the same model that I had in my just traded TT, the speakers in the C are the same as were in my TT as well.
However the sound in the C was lousy and given what I've said above I put it down to the speakers being mounted in the ceiling (which is not very deep).
I ended up buying a low profile Kenwood Sub and mounted it high up on a shelf out of sight and the sound is so much better. My only other option was to install satellite speakers around the rig but I wanted to avoid that if possible. For me the Kenwood sub has done the job.
