New Smart TV

We just replaced our front RV with a smart one. Also had high speed internet added to our RV site so we could stream movies etc. I have a question. Is it normal when watching a movie on Tubi for the picture to go black. Movie is still going cause the surround sound is on. Then we go back into menus and select same movie again, tell it to resume watching, and all is good again. Happened on 2 different movies yesterday. Could this be a problem with the TV itself? Or is it the Tubi app?

  • Have never had that happen when watching Tubi.

    I had something similar happen twice with a new smart TV. I contacted the TV manufacture and they emailed me the procedure to reset the factory settings. No problems since then. It was the sound portion I lost. You have to remember, these things are computers now too.
  • More likely the app. I never get that on Prime or youtube. Is the app (or the TV) cheap?
