I am not sure why or where the "RG 59 doesnt work" myth comes from.
I have seen training and install videos that specifically say its ok to use existing house cabling.
I have used 100" of 59 many times not including whats inside the rv.
My receiver can record/play 5 HD channels on a single coax. My understanding is that 4K uses 6 channels and higher resolution is in the future.
From that perspective it makes no sense to install RG59 and/or lower bandwidth connectors.
