New TV Antenna

I would like to replace my coach's original rooftop TV antenna with something more advanced. Has anyone here had experience with any of the low profile types that you do not have to rotate ? Any recommendations appreciated.

Thanks.
  • Yes, it's true. Replacing a broken antenna with a working antenna will increase performance. Otherwise, you will get dramatically better performance with a Batwing than any other antenna current available to the RV market.
  • We replaced the bat wing with the king controls jack antenna and have much better reception! It is designed to replace the batwing head using the same assembly that you currently have. It's a replacement kit for the batwing.
  • If you currently have the Winegard Batwing antenna, you already have the most advanced antenna on the market. The 2004 would not have had the Wingman add-on and you will want to add that to get the best reception on the channels used with the digital transmissions. If you want to take that a bit further, you could replace your '04 antenna with a new Batwing Sensar IV for the slightly improved electronics and the Wingman is built in. I think a new head is around $50.
  • I agree, anything you replace it with will give you worse reception.
