Well, a research group in England, working with Nokia, has come up with a prototype device that may make that scene history.

This new charger system produced 5 volts and runs on NOISE, (Actually any sound) so if your battery is low,, Just sing it a song or two and it will charge it right up... Also charged by the noise from an Air conditioner, Television or radio, Barking dogs, Meowing cats. Any sound.
This tech could take quite a while to get to market. I'm interested to see the new resonant QI charging coming soon. I have multiple QI services right now.
