Why not dump a pile of your choice of tunes on a USB memory stick?

A 16 gig stick will hold a couple thousand or more songs. You can create directories by however you want, and then listen to your hearts content! You can randomize your selection, or play in alphabetical order, one directory or all, whatever you want.

And the title & artist shows up on the display.

That's what I do in the car and the TT. I upgraded the RV stereo to a nice modern one. We don't need to even carry CDs now.

Not likely. Your not alone there. Most new cars dont have a CD any more. They think we all have iphones and expect us to use apple carplay. Luckily my new MDX has a huge hard drive installed. Load a CD in the slot and it downloads the music to the HD. Now I can have Siruis XM AND a hard drive full of my favorite albums.

You can get a portable CD player with a USB output and plug that in, or a CD player with blue tooth, or a CD player with a standard old audio out that you connect to a USB adapter.

Since most people now keep their music on a digital media, that vehicle has the USB, BT and link to apple or android. I personally find that confusing since their main customer base is the older generation so 3.5 jack should have been a given.

Also, in the center console, check to make sure you don't have a small 3.5 jack. Prior years had that jack so it is possible they still install it, just don't prominently mention it. You can also check your MyLink screen and see if it shows any Jack icon.

Ditto. I put our whole CD collection on a thumbnail-sized USB stick and just plug it into the vehicle's USB port. Most current vehicles can play it in several modes, sequential, random, by album, etc. I use MediaMonkey to import the CDs to my music library. I haven't thrown the CDs away yet but I will soon.

I also have the music library on my phone and they can be played that way also with bluetooth, but the USB device is always there with no setup necessary.

Double Ditto! Just copy ALL your CDs to a large USB Flash drive, plug it in to your car, and leave it there. I did...it is so much more convenient. I never looked back.

I got about 2000 songs on my old 16gb iPod and it still has room for more..

I plug it in the usb that's hidden in a compartment and it just runs and runs. With the sync you can talk to it and request artists, albums, songs, etc.. That is, when the sync actually works, but for the most part I just let it run on random... :)

My 13 actually has a built in CD player, but I only use it when I buy a CD from the thrift store for $2.00 and want to listen to it before I burn it to the iPod..

Anyway, that's what works for me.. :)

I hated the Sirius sat service thing it came with it when it was free for 6 months...

I wish it had HD radio is all, but the usb and iPod works well.

In my Miata, I take along my Nano ipod and plug it into the aux port. It's very small and I play my tunes through the radio. We only use the Miata for a couple months in the summer right now so we don't activate the Sirius on it. It has a CD slot, but we don't have room in the car to carry a bunch of CD's, so I put them on the ipod and use it.

Load her favorite music to a smart phone and connect the phone to the cars audio system. Hands free phone calls, hands free music. CD’s are are dying technology.

Is there a USB pulg in CD player.. Well yes there are many. I have 2 of them

WIll it work on yoru Car Entainerment/Driver info system? Unknown You see you need the proper DRIVER for it to work. I do not know if the radio has the proper Driver.

IF you are near me (Currently Standish MI, next week St. Clair MI) I can "Loan" you one of the drives for test.. (Not offering it but for the length of one CD).. I may even loan you a CD to test it with.

Option.. I have a few CD's I'd really hate to misplace.. Example "Unbroken" by Trinity River Band.. THough I'm not that big a fan of Blue Grass. (I have a "Friend" (not really all that friendly) who sings a song where the repeating line is "I think blue grass sucks") it has been my pleasure to hear some top rated Blue Grass Groups... In fact my first encounter was the state Champion in competition. and TRB is also a TOP rated group.. Their Christmas CD (On a Morning like this) is another favorite.

SO I used my Windows 10 box to rip 'em and store them on the phone as MP3s

And then I feed them to my Radios, headphones, whatever I want to feed 'em too.

Though driving the RV (Which can play CD's.. I spin the disc.. Lovely.

NOTE: Works great.

NOTE: If I am using Google Maps on the phone and Lola (Name given those programs by Robin Williams in movie RV) needs to talk to me. it pauses the song playing till she's done.. Very nice.

Our '16 Buick Encore has a CD player but we have yet to use it. We either use SiriusXM or Bluetooth on our phones. Androids with 32 gb SD cards, and PowerAmp for the MP3 player. The car sees it and operates PowerAmp as if it's native.
