The current Verizon Mifi pay go plan has no reactivation fee. If you sit idle for more than three months you could be reactivated with a new phone number. There are no fees in the interim.

I finally got it! Guess I'm used to hearing the word vintage used as an adjective to describe something from long ago . . . "vintage cookware" or "vintage clothing", etc.

Here's the complete definition including an example: "a period of origin or manufacture, a piano of 1845 vintage".

Or:
"of recent vintage": having happened or started not very long ago: There are some classic songs on the album, but most are of more recent vintage.

Or:
the time when something started or was made. He uses slang of recent vintage.

A definition of "vintage": "a period of origin or manufacture". Doesn't necessarily mean old.

Yeah, a big re-activation fee would have been a deal breaker for me, too.
