No Contract Hotspot

Is there a no contract aircard hotspot I can buy.
I presently use the Verizon Mifi but have to pay $50 every month. I have cable internet where we are parked and only use the card when we travel. I can put it on hold but only 6 months. I need a card I can turn on and pay for only when we travel.
  • We used the AT&T Go-Phone hotspot this summer. 5gig or 30 days for $50. Worked great for us.
  • Straight Talk $79 for the hotspot and $15 for 1gig for 30 days $20 for 2gig etc. Be careful there are two versions out there one for ATT and one for Verizon. Both are LTE 4g

There are several No-COntract air-cards. Card runs 150-250 up front then you can buy bytes as you want....

I believe T-mobile has one.. I hear Verizon is going that way.. Straight Talk

The one that hangs in my bedroom is Virgin Mobile (NOTE I DO NOT recommend but well the story follows)

You need only ask at the cell phone store.

    The story.
Where I usually winter one park had decent wi-fi, the other None (I split my time between the two) and I used about 20 dollars worth of bandwidth a month with the Virgin Mobile plan

It was kind of neat walking into a store and asking for a "Twenty Dollar Virgin".
  • Straight Talk is pay-as-you-go. Not the cheapest but nice if you don't use it very much.
