No "divide by" Key on my keyboard

I had need of the divide symbol recently but noted there is no key for that symbol. I carefully inspected every key on the keyboard. The typical (+) and (-) keys are there, but no division. I don't remember if my previous Toshiba had one. Is that normal, or is there some trick needed to get to the division symbol? So,I wrote out the equation like this: 1246/6,
meaning: 1246 divided by 6.
