Browser cache can become corrupted, and often times takes up unnecessary storage space. It's good practice to clear out browser cache routinely. I have mine set to clear on close, but can also do so manually. You can also use a free utility such as CCleaner which will clear all your browsers cache with one click.
You can also reload a webpage easily using the F5 key(PC) or Command+R(Mac) if your photos don't load on occasion.
