Rock, a Mifi is a aircard/router all wrapped into one small package.
The output is in ma's and the range is miniscule. Even our phone, which can serve as a hotspot, serves as a router, so I ask, WHAT is the difference between using your cell phone and using a Mifi? What would they say if I raised my Motosat antenna and went online? Sorry, but that is total BS about interference, just a bandwidth issue.
Missed the part of it being a 'mifi', just saw the part that he said he paid a monthly fee, I.E. regular mobile broadband. My mistake thanks for pointing it out.
