I have my Sprint USB mobile plugged into my computer and it does NOT allow me to have wifi for any other devices.
You have to have a 'router' connected for it to do that.
If you have a router connected take it off! You don't need a router to use a mobile broadband monthly paid for internet connection on one computer.
And IMHO if you need a router to power every single family members computer in an RV, somethings wrong with what you believe family camping is all about! :W
That said the CG owner is wrong.
Not all cellular cards are stand-alone USB cards like you have. It's great that you have one as it appears to work very well for you. However, one of the most popular cellular devices sold by all of the cellular services is NOT a device like your but rather the MiFi device. Additionally, if someone chooses do to so, they don't even need a card of any kind. You simply turn on your smart phone Hot Spot option on and you can connect to the internet using only your phone (which is now broadcasting a WiFi network and has been banned from this park).
As an aside, not all of us are family camping. The RVing network spreads way beyond that one tiny niche.
