With our setup our gear will connect to an acceptable open AP automagically & filtered one's with a brief intervention. Secure AP's require a single login & we are set.
All our devices are on our RV network. We can transfer data between devices with our without internet access less cloud access.
We hotspot our phones if WiFi is giving issues.
If a campground (concentration camp) has issue with our setup there is a Wal-Mart/Cracker Barrel usually nearby & a better campground tomorrow. Only we can spoil our camping experience, which we refuse to do. Life is far too short.
