Have the usual batwing antenna. Couple of years ago I installed a Winegard SensarPro signal finder and it has worked fine until yesterday when the TV suddenly stopped working on all channels. The bedroom TV doesn't work either. The SensarPro does seem to indicate that it is getting a signal which would mean it's not the antenna or the co-ax between antenna and SensarPro.
Could the SensarPro have simply failed or is there something else to check? I'd check the antenna but don't have a ladder with us.
I would have to believe that if you have it set to antenna, the gain is set to 10 (always start here!) and the signal strength in in the 50 or above range then the issue is down stream from the Sensar Pro but it certainly could be a bad TV output from the Sensar Pro as well. There are 2 of these (the "to TV" mini coax cables) so you can try swapping to see if that helps.
