Old School CB?

In todays time is a CB radio still useful and if so what set up is recommended and what is the cost for it to be purchased and installed professionally?

A CB does little for traffic (in my experience) - hell you can't even get a good cop report any more....that said i STILL have one, but other than knowing whats caused the stop after I'm stopped thats about all its good for.

any cb shop will install the radio for you either for free (if you buy it from them) or for a small fee.

my suggestion - if you want realtime (verified) and accurate reporting, you should install and become familiar w/ an application called WAZE !

WAZE is FREE - Learn more HERE --> https://www.youtube.com/user/WazeGPS1

  • CB radios-
CB radios can be used for:
    1. getting the most current road conditions, accidents and alternative routes to avoid traffic jams.
    2. communication tool for another person to help you back up your RV into a driveway, RV site.
    3. maintaining communication between friends when you are caravanning.

    BREAKER! BREAKER!
  • You just have to keep the squelch all the way up to weed out all the trash that's on there now...
