If the receiver has not "seen" a signal after about 30 days your receiver will need to be re-activated. That has nothing at all to do with a check switch. Assuming the receiver has not been connected to any other antenna then the SW64 switch will still be set.
Just connect everything up and power on the antenna. Once it locks onto the satellite you can call Dish and have them send the re-boot signal.
