Online banking with Straighttalk??????

We have Straighttalk all you need a d a LG 220C phone. It will not let me browse to an HTTPS (secure) site do I can't do online banking.

If I get a CDMA (we need Verizon to be the carrier) smartphone and the Straighttalk $45 unlimited plan will I be able to do online banking?

I did do a lot of searching before posting this, but I am search challenged.

Thanks for any help.

    Thanks. One of the credit unions we deal with has no "app", will I be at risk using a browser?

    Use the bank's app, not your browser. You don't (and probably shouldn't) do phone banking the way you do it on a computer browser.
