IF you are using a WINDOWS BASED PC, GOOGLE DOCS DOES NOT WORK AT ALL WITHOUT INTERNET, PERIOD., etc, etc, etc...
I am not trying to sell anyone on Google just because I happen to choose Google for my use. I just react based on my experience when I see claims that are wrong in these forums. So, for those that want more insight:
