Optilite LED - DELI

I purchased some two packs of Optilite LEDs #101760 in September/October of 2022, several of which have become defective. These bulbs carry a 5 year warranty. Tried to exchange them at the local Camping World Store in Holiday, Florida and was told after 90 days warranty must be through the Manufacturer. BIG problem, try to find anything about Optilite, no such company. They are distributed by National RV Supply. Try to find anything about them and you are pointed to the Camping World HQ in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Contact them and get the same run-a-round, "Contact the Manufacturer", fine how do I contact them, answer "I don't know" These bulbs sell for $24.99 for the two pack so not just cheap throw-a-ways. HELP
  • They sold them. You want CW to call their purchasing dept I'm sure they have a list of their venders.

  • OP here, finally got an answer: Seems Camping World purchased Optilite approx a year ago, but seems none of the Store Managers were aware of this and that Camping World is now responsible for the 5 year warranty. Just have to get to a store and explain the Facts of Life to them.
  • It seems like you're encountering difficulties with a warranty claim for defective Optilite LEDs, which are distributed by National RV Supply and sold at Camping World. If you're having trouble reaching the manufacturer for warranty support, consider the following steps:

Check the packaging or any accompanying documentation for contact information related to the manufacturer or warranty support.

Contact Camping World's customer service and request more specific contact details for the manufacturer. They may have better information about how to reach them.

If all else fails, you might consider reaching out to Camping World's corporate headquarters and expressing your difficulties with the warranty process. They may be able to assist you further or provide guidance on how to proceed.

Warranties are typically intended to protect consumers, so it's important to keep pursuing a resolution. If none of the above steps work, you may want to explore any consumer protection laws in your area that could apply to such situations.
