OT- now I’ve seen it all.

This is not apparently an April fools joke-

tl/dr. An “audiophile” fuse for $159

Shortened the link to top level domain- apparently this forum software is blocking it, as I can copy and paste the url and it works fine.

I remember those. In SOME cases with Analog cables they might actually superior (long runs and things like that) but HDMI is as I recall, Digital. and Well. I've done a lot of audio work (Never used Monster cables) and once I have it in the digital domain I toss it around using both TOS-link (FIber Optic) (Tos stands for Toshiba) using SP/dif (Sony-Panasonic Digital Interface Format) and also using RCA cables (Digital electronics) and what came out the out was always exactly what was tossed. Bit perfect save for one bit I stripped.

And there is always the "AudioQuest - Diamond 6.6' High-Speed HDMI Cable" priced at a reasonable $1800.00.

There's always somebody eager to separate the gullible from their money.
