OTA Experts Please Help

I have a outdoor antenna with a Winegard LNA-200 amp and preamp in a very fringe area. On a good day I get 3 weak UHF channels and 1 very strong VHF station. The VHF is so strong that antenna aim on that channel is not critical.

The other day the VHF station was gone. No signal at all. The UHF stations are still there. I changed coax cables and checked connections. I checked with a neighbor to be sure the station was still on.

The antenna has a chinese circuit board type balum. I tried jumping around that with an old style 300 Ohm to 75. The UHF were there but no VHF.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanx

  • I just found out there is a button within the menu for uhf and vhf to turn them on for scanning channels.

I also found out that one of the cheap flat screens I just bought is not even capable to search for UHF only VHF. :R
