out went 12" CRT TV and in came 24" LED but help.

I just purchased a 24” LED tv to replace the old 12 inch CRT which came with the unit from the factory. It was my understanding that the original CRT drew about 30w which is pretty close to the 33w d...

You can always cut the old incoming cord connector off & connect a new 12 volt female receptacle to that end & use a small wattage AC/DC inverter like this one. That will accomplish what you want to do & not have to run the generator or be connected to shore power.
