Page Plus Cellular and Kitty Wireless

For users of PPC (a Verizon reseller), have any of you used Kitty Wireless to purchase any of the PPC plans? They have the $80 for 2000 min/yr plan/card that PPC only sells via its dealers.

Kitty is a small shop that only communicates by email and online purchases, so I was wondering what experiences folks here might have w/ them?

I'm another happy customer of Kitty Wireless. I use a monthly plan for two phones, and their autopay program works great. Any questions by email are usually answered quickly.

  • The main benefit of the $80 plan, is that you get minutes that remain active for a full year. If you don't use a lot of voice minutes, this can save you money.
  • My only big concern besides not speaking by phone w/ KW is that I do not know what impact buying an $80 card (= getting a PIN?) instead of asking someone by phone at PPC to add another $50.

Specifically, will all calls in or out work the same in either case. I do not want to enter any numbers to do this like for the old prepaid long distance calling cards.
  • No. Though PPC does support some 4G smartphones, they tend to be a pain to configure, as their service is now only 3G as mentioned.
  • Has anyone that uses PPC (Page Plus Cellular) heard any rumors of if/when they will offer 4G service?

x2 , sign up for their email specials, just got some interesting offers this morning.

Never ever again will I have a contract with a big name cell system.
  • I've used them, they are legit.

As you mention, there are only a handful of dealers that are allowed to sell the $80 2,000 minute plan.

I only left PPC after many years because I wanted to upgrade to a 4G phone (which they don't support yet) and use it as a hot spot.

I would use them again in a heartbeat if PPC ever supports 4G phone/hotspot usage.
