Poor Digital TV Signal

Here would have been an easier less expensive approach to all this,........forget the "pro sensor"
1- Hit menu on my new TV
2- click "signal meter" (same as my sat receiver)
3- Start twisting the batwing till I get a good signal
4- Click enter....on and on till all signals entered.
5- watch tv channel of choice
Right, in my dreams !
Remember they used to be that way, him outside twisting the antenna, her inside hollering, whoa !! Too far ! etc etc.

When the govn't force'm to go digital, they should have supplied a signal meter in w/ that converter,.....and free of charge.

I mounted my SensarPro in a Wiremold surface mount box that I bought at Home Depot.

I received the sensor pro today, and what could have been a quick changeout, wasn't. Both are made to fit into a standard electrical box, But most if not all were just recessed into the panel by doing a square 1 1/2" cutout.

You are correct that the Wingman will only improve reception on the UHF frequencies but about 80% of the TV programming is on the UHF frequencies so it will help in most cases.

I am just so tired of scanning 4 times in 4 different directions, only to find out there was nothing there to start w/, and that only because they took away all our snowy channels that I was perfectly content w/ in many remote places.
I should probably add the wingman too, but not sure. In some places where I had weak signals that would block out, I asked the wingman campers, and they weren't doing any better, but maybe they were VHF channels, not sure.

And the adjustable +-10db amp really works. Sometimes you need a little pad

You will like the Sensar Pro. I have used one for over 2 years and it simply takes all the guesswork out of pointing your OTA antenna. You will even know if you should be getting channels where you are parked. If the signal strength numbers are less than 50 your chances of reception are poor. If they are higher than that you can pretty much be assured that you should at least be getting some channels. If your signals are in the 70+ range you will likely get all the channels. It takes about 30 seconds to turn it on, raise the antenna rotate until you cannot get a higher number and you are done.
This also is only for the OTA signal and of no use for satellite TV.

That unit is used to help located the OTA TV signal and does not work with satellite TV. With a little practice, however, this one works very well.
