I am now at my winter location. Using a DISH 1000.2 dish on a tripod and a single hopper. I set everything up, aimed the dish and everything seems to be working except for the locals which I will request via a chat session shortly. My question is that I have a single coax coming from the dish and I have not yet connected the solo node that I bought but the hopper "seems" to be working fine. The diagrams show two coax coming from the dish and going into the solo node and a single coax going from there to the hopper. What am I missing here? Is the solo node needed for anything and if so where does the second coax connect to the dish?
