I kinda agree to stay with Win7 - I just ordered a new laptop and paid extra to have the Win7 Pro installed instead of Win10.
We are on hotspot often and even now it eats our data like crazy and we have every thing we can turned off. And, regardless of the harm or no harm with the Win10 tracking or spying idea or the constant updated in Win10, that turns me off completely.
We have NO interest in learning another OS, regardless of how easy it may be ... (They say it, it never is) ...
I've been a MS / PC user since the late 1980's -- if the MS PC end game goes where it looks like its going in a few years, it might turn me into an MAC customer ...
Plus, if you have any programs, you need to buy all new ones - even tho some say it's easy, and they will work, it's not always easy and they don't always work. Maybe if you're a tech - which we are not. Win7 is a great OS, can't figure out why MS keep trying to improve it to the detriment of satisfied customers. Most of us don't need all the fancy (supposedly) improvements.
