based on what you are saying ?
you will need a BT enable receiver/amplifier connected to the speakers to drive them, unless you are talking about something that has the amplifier and BT built in. in which case you need a BT transmitter to send the signal from the jensen to the speaker system
it sounds like you are talking about a 'wireless' speaker system and the transmitter has to be connected to the aux ? output of the stereo
IDk if you can mute the speakers using the volume control and still have a useable output signal,
