Yes a good Yagi will beat the Batwing.. Not sure yet about that antenna assembly but it resembles one I do know that used to be made not far from where I lived.
IF you are parked for LONG times, a mast (Such as a Sunsetter flag pole) with a good size residential Yagi.. Well.. I've seen stations over 100 miles away on VHF low band. But that was with a 100' Mast (Tower) at my parent's house.. Even though the house was in the "No Coverage" zone (South of Union City MI on Francisco RD) we got TV from Detroit (over 100 miles Lansing/Jackson, Kalamazoo/Battle Creek/Grand Rapids and South Bend, IN.
