- Alison_and_NeilExplorerThank you all for the input!
1492 - you nailed it....worked exactly as illustrated. I got to the part about copy and paste the map embed but couldn't figure out how to paste it on the blog.....pretty simple
Neil - DavyddExplorerIf you want to screen grab anything on a Mac computer in the way you want to compose it just do Shift-Command-4 and a rectangular lasso tool appears. Just click-hold drag and let up to make a rectangle selection of what you want. It makes a date stamped screen capture jpeg file automatically. You can then refine and edit it in apps like Apple's Preview.
- 1492ModeratorIt's very easy to embed a Google Map in Blogger:
At the lower right of your Google Map, click the Gear icon and select "Share an embed map".
Click the "Embed map" tab. Then, from the dropdown menu, select the size of map you want in your blog post - such as Small. Finally, copy the map link code.
In Blogger, click the "HTML" tab, and paste the Google Map code where you want it to appear.
Your Google Map will now appear when you click the "Compose" tab to continue writing your blog. Or when clicking the Preview or Post buttons. - gatorcqExplorerCheck our my blog.
1 way is as describe in the first reply.
2 is as a side bar - see mind
3 another way is as a link - - Gonzo42ExplorerWhat I would do is:
1. Do a "print screen" which is Ctrl-PRTSCN on your keyboard.
2. Open Paint and paste the image into it.
3. Crop it using the cut rectangle, maybe do a little editing and save the image in your computer.
4. Post your image into photobucket or other picture saving website.
5. Use your advanced edit mode in the reply area and call the remote image.
You should be aware that the whole world can now see your travel plans. Is this a good idea?
