Pre-paid cellular data with longest shelf life?

The subject says it all pretty much. I'm looking for a pre-paid data provider with the best shelf life, that is, something I don't have to kick in more $$ every month even if I haven't used all the...

one "issue" I had with tracfone was when I changed phones and switched service to the new one I didn't (I guess) mention to also switch the "service continuation plan" and discovered that instead of 1800 minutes I had 0 minutes of time. took some fussing and screaming but I got my minutes back.
