Price Difference

SHORT VERVSION: Need to replace refrigerator. Went to Camper World Ft Worth this morning. Price quoted by them (not being exact) around $1,352.23. I had informed them I had seen the price as $1,060.00 (not exact) in sales catalog. Nothing said by them about I was correct are matching/meeting it. Anyway, after getting home this afternoon, received new catalog this afternoon in the mail, there it was again. The same refrig I needed as $1,060.00 "PLUS" available in store. See page 12 of sale catalog. This morning store said they did not have it and needed to order and I have to pay the higher price. Why must I? Yes I agreed to higher price since I need a working refrigerator. Why the big difference? (Refrigerator #12775) Where is the savings? Catalog is not indicating this refrigerator as "Catalog & internet only". Can someone explain this so it makes sense to me?
I may have previously posted under wrong listing, Sorry, new at this stuff.
  • I had a similar issue with a waste tote I purchased from the Calera, AL store. The internet had one price but store had another. The associate I talked to said they do not match their internet price. When I spoke with a manager she said they will match their internet price as long as it does not say internet or catalog only. She matched the internet price and made me a happy camper. Try talking the store manager and see what they can do. Good luck.

    Click on their name...in this case "Good Sam care Team"..... under the name will appear a few new entries...one will be send a private message
  • Ok, figured out how to do the PM. I may be slow, but I make it there.
  • Thanks Halmfamily; Good advise about talking with store manager. It's right at 100 miles one-way, so figured I'd attempt to work something out when I go to pickup RV at end of month when it's suppose to be ready.
  • Contacted GM (Chad)this morning. After research on his side things are resolved. He found where and how the difference came up. Thanks to all for suggestions and recommendations.
