In a free market enterprise any merchant may charge anything they like. It doesn't make them a crook. In a free market enterprise the buyer is free to purchase/not purchase anywhere they choose. Merchants attempting to charge too much will lose business and fail and buyers willing to pay too much will lose their money. Those who are savvy will find the middle ground between price and service. Capitalism is a great system!
